The Finance Major from the Bachelor of Business explores the operation of financial markets and institutions in society in the context of how business and individuals can efficiently manage their financial affairs.
Issues for investigation include: the decision on how an enterprise's operations are to be funded, the process of investment evaluation, the role and operation of the banking system and personal financial planning. Graduates in Finance are to be found in stockbroking, investment management, the financial advisory business and the finance division of all types and sizes of companies.
