Dr Llandis Barratt-Pugh
Dr Llandis Barratt-Pugh is a senior lecturer in Management and teaches in the areas leadership, change management and strategic human resource development.
He holds a PhD, a Master of Business and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
As a manager of training and management consultant for over 16 years in the UK and Australia, Llandis was the winner of two UK National Training Awards.
His experience allows him to bring invaluable knowledge to the classroom on the application of management principles.
Llandis' research interests lie in the contribution that current training technologies make to the management of workplace learning. His most recent research was on evaluating the Frontline Manager Initiative.
Llandis' teaching has been recognised with several awards including the Vice-Chancellors Award for Excellence in Teaching. He has also been awarded with an ‘Excellence in Research Support Award’ by the postgraduate student association.
With a view that learning should be a process that is both enjoyable and leaves you questioning, Llandis focuses his teaching on workplace issues, real problems and assessing through action research.
