Master of Business Administration
The MBA program has strong links with the business community and is designed around the real needs of a highly technological and fast changing business environment.
There is an excellent balance between intellectual stimulation and practical application – theoretical studies are blended with practical exercises in a program of lectures, tutorials, case studies, seminars, field trips, group projects, independent research and business simulation sessions.
The units are taught using interactive learning techniques drawing on the diverse backgrounds of students and the experience and expertise of the lecturer. Students must have some practical work experience to contribute and benefit from this type of learning environment.
The MBA at ECU is praised by students for its high quality student-focussed teaching, up-to-date and applied knowledge of lecturers and the emphasis on application of textbook principles through guest lecturers, case studies, simulations and work-based assignments.
