Final fling
Final year students - you have worked hard and now it's time to PARTY! Join your fellow students and the staff of Business and Law for the Final Fling!
When: Friday, 30 November 2007
Time: 6.00pm–8.00pm
Where: Leederville Hotel, 742 Newcastle Street, Leederville
Cost: $25 — includes gourmet finger food, four drink vouchers for wine, beer or pre-mix drinks and a commemorative t-shirt.
Tickets can be purchased from the Faculty of Business and Law Reception at Joondalup or Churchlands before Friday, 23 November 2007.
We have two free tickets to give away to the first five people who email their details to blmarketing@ecu.edu.au.

Review and improve
Lecturers are on-hand for informal reviews so you can discuss exam results and get feedback on areas for improvement.
The Informal Review Day is held on Wednesday, 19 December. Visit your School's website for postings of lecturer availability closer to the day.
Students awarded for industry projects
Leisure and sport management students have been awarded for industry projects completed as part of a professional practicum unit.
Michelle Duffield, Cameron Taylor and Amira Mahmood were awarded Dr Heather McGowan OAM awards for professional practice in leisure and sport management at a function that brought together students, lecturers and industry representatives.
Students who took part in the unit presented posters and portfolios of their work experience projects to guests from a variety of organisations including Parks and Leisure Australia, the Department of Sport and Recreation and the Department of Environment and Conservation.
ECU hosts Corruption and Crime Commission Forum
Hon Len Roberts-Smith RFD, QC, the newly appointed Commissioner of the Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) gave his first public address at a forum hosted by ECU's Faculty of Business and Law.
Commissioner Roberts-Smith's presentation, "Misconduct… is that all there is?" defined misconduct and explained the role of the Corruption and Crime Commission in investigating allegations of misconduct. Full story >>
