Preclusions and Transfers

Preclusions

Preclusion is the term now used to describe a unit substitution. Continuing students can apply for preclusions by completing an Application for preclusion form. The preclusion must be approved by the school and then forwarded to the Co-ordinator Student Information and Academic Services in the Faculty's Student Information Centre.

Transfers

Continuing students can no longer apply to have units transferred from one course (that hasn't been completed) to another. Students may instead apply for Advanced Standing for the units from their previous course to the Co-ordinator Student Information and Academic Services in the Faculty's Student Information Centre.
