Terms of Reference

The Committee reports to Faculty Board on the following matters:

  1. The Committee shall
    • formulate and review policy and procedures related to international and commercial activities for recommendation to Faculty Board.
    • formulate and review international and commercial strategic and operational plans for adoption by Faculty Board.
  2. Evaluate international and commercial initiatives and directions.
  3. Support and monitor Faculty activities in the recruitment of international students to study in Perth or with Alliance partners.
  4. Evaluate and monitor international and domestic Alliances and associated academic programs.
  5. Advise on the marketing of international and commercial activities.
  6. Consider matters referred by Faculty Board.
  7. Consider matters referred by ECU International Management Committee and by International Policy Committee.

  • Voting to be of equal standing as per members list
  • Notification of Proxies for any committee member who is unable to attend
  • Committee Executive - is comprised of Chair/Relevant HOS/Relevant Project Director/Faculty Manager or nominees of the above
  • Agenda to be circulated 4 working days prior to meeting
  • Documentation to be circulated 7 days in advance (Standard ECU model).
  • Only Items formally on the Agenda will be addressed at the meeting.
  • Directors' Reports amended to include travel and meetings, to be provided and reviewed as required.
