Terms of Reference

To report to the Faculty Board on developments, policies, procedures and priorities for research and higher degree activities within the Faculty.
To report to the Faculty Board on such matters that are referred to it by the Faculty Board or the Executive Dean.
To develop, implement and review research and higher degree management plans as might be necessary to promote research and higher degrees in the Faculty.
To make recommendations regarding research funds for researchers and research centre activities within the Faculty.
To promote and monitor postgraduate supervision and postgraduate research programs.
To monitor and make recommendations regarding the admission and progress of higher degree students in the Faculty.
To communicate information regarding the Faculty Ethics Sub-Committee.
