IJBS Manuscript Preparation and Style Guide for Authors

The International Journal of Business Studies is a double-blind refereed journal that publishes the results of significant basic or applied research in the area of business studies. The Journal covers findings from research in international business studies including marketing, management, economics, accounting and finance.

The Editors invite contributions for inclusion in forthcoming issues of the Journal. Papers must be in English. Authors should send contributions via email as an attachment in Word  or other standard formats to:

  • Submission of a paper will be held to imply that it contains original unpublished work and is not being submitted for publication elsewhere.
  • Contributors should use an IJBS template obtainable via email for  the Editorial Assistant, IJBS, ECU
  • The first page of the manuscript should contain the following information: title, rank and institutional
    affiliation of the author(s) as a footnote indicated by an (*); an abstract of not more than 100 words,
    followed by key words or  phrases (no more than six).
  • Acknowledgments and statements about the origin of the paper can be given in a first footnote (not to
    exceed 50 words).
  • Footnotes should be at the bottom of the page where the reference to the footnote has been made.
    For monographs:

    For contributions to collective works:

  • Manuscripts which require extensive editorial work to comply with the above requirements will be
    returned to the author(s) for modification.
  • Please include the name, address and e-mail address of the author(s) on a separate document for correspondence purposes.
