Using your Tertiary Qualifications as an entry pathway
If you already possess a recognised undergraduate degree, honours degree or postgraduate qualification then you may be eligible for entry to our postgraduate business programs.
What are my options?
Participants with a recognised undergraduate degree may apply for entry to the following postgraduate programs:
- Graduate Certificate of Business - extend your knowledge in a particular area
- Graduate Diploma of Business - extend your knowledge into an area that is different from your undergraduate degree
Participants with a recognised undergraduate degree, and/or Graduate Certificate of Business or Graduate Diploma of Business, and/or Honours degree may apply for entry to the following postgraduate programs (check the relevant course pages for more details):
- Masters by Coursework - undertake major studies and obtain relevant knowledge and skills in an area that is different to your first degree
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) - build a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of business operations and the environment of business
- Masters by Research - provides advanced theoretical and applied studies in a selected field appropriate to a students’ employment needs or interest.
Participants with a relevant Masters degree by research (or other Master degree including a substantial research component), or a Bachelor degree with first class honours (second class honours to be approved by the Faculty), may apply for entry to the following doctorate programs:
- Doctor of Business Administration (Information Systems) - designed for senior managers who need to develop an in-depth understanding of the latest thinking and technologies that are shaping the global world of electronic business
- Doctor of Philosophy - undertake a supervised research degree in Business Studies or Interdisciplinary Studies
