Studying with Business & Law
Study workload - what can I expect
In addition to the time you spend in lectures and tutorials, you'll also need to allocate time each week to do readings, prepare for assignments and in self-directed study.
There is no hard and fast rule about how much time you need to allocate each week per unit, since the time you need will depend on how well you are travelling in the unit. Additionally, you may find that some units require more of your time and effort than others.
Something to consider
A full-time study load is equivalent to having a full-time job - full-time jobs usually take up at least 40 hours per week. So if you are studying full-time, you should be putting aside, at the very least, an equivalent amount of time for your University studies.
