CPA Australia

Students are invited to join the Accounting Students Register of CPA Australia. The benefits available include: access to the CPA Library Network; professional development and training, discounted Accounting and Auditing handbooks, and the opportunity to build on a network of contacts and to participate in the activities of Australia's largest professional accounting organisation. Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA)

Students may be eligible for membership of FINSIA, benefits of which include professional development discounts, educational product discounts, access to a job-search service, subscription to publications including InFinsia and Journal of Investment Management (JOIM), and networking opportunities. The Institute Of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA)

Accounting students may associate with the ICAA by becoming members of the Chartered Accountants Students’ Society (CASS). Members of CASS receive a number of services including: the latest edition of the Institute's publication Accounting/Auditing Statements; subscription to the Institute's journal CHARTER; access to the Institute's libraries and discounts on bookshop purchases; invitations to attend professional development courses and young member social and sporting functions; and a regular CASS newsletter.

Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)

Membership of the IIA is open to students studying in an Internal Auditing related discipline. Benefits of membership include opportunities to attend the annual SOPAC Conference, access to the National Seminar Series, access to the Certified Internal Auditors (CIA) Program, international affiliation, and a Members Handbook. National Institute of Accountants (NIA)

Undergraduate Accounting students are invited to join the NIA Student Register. Full Student Membership includes subscription to a range of publications including National Accountant, Directions and e-Statements, unrestricted access to the NIA Website, including access to Australian Accounting Standards and a Technical Resource Library, access to a mentoring and work experience program, and discounted or free entry to networking opportunities. The Register allows for progression through levels of membership to become a Professional National Accountant (PNA). You can also join as a Free Online Student Member.
